Course Objective
This Programme is planned to prepare graduates for taking up vital managerial roles in the rapidly growing gaming industry in Macau. In order to benefit the students to the most extent, the courses are designed in the rapidly growing in a way that addresses the most imminent needs of the industry in terms of expertise and know-hows. This programme supplements the currently available Diploma in Casino Management, at a more foundational level.
Program Description
The entire programme comprises four 45-hour courses, as listed below (please refer to Course Descriptions):
- GMAD111 Strategic Management for the Casino Industry
- GMAD112 Quality Management
- GMAD113 Application of Data-Driven Decision-Making in Gaming Industry
- GMAD114 Accounting for the Gaming Industry
Cantonese is the principal teaching language, although for some courses, other languages such as Mandarin or English may be used. Teaching materials are in English or Chinese, or bilingual.
Upon successful completion of each of these courses (attaining a ‘C+’ or higher grade), an individual certificate of completion will be awarded. A programme diploma will only be awarded when the candidate successfully completes all four courses (on average attaining a ‘C+’ or higher grade) within a period of three calendar years, starting from the first course he/she enrols in.
